It is easy to become entrenched in certain ways of approaching things, or of doing things. It has been very enlightening to travel to another country and to see how things are approached and carried out in another culture. This Nature Exchange trip has provided me with much food for thought, and I have spent much time ruminating since my return, pondering the comparisons between our two countries’ approach to conservation, and to our relationship with the natural world. more »

Latvia is an amazing country with very friendly people who generally seemed to have a positive and constructive attitude towards work, Europe and their place in the world. The hospitality and kindness we were shown was superb and memorable.
